Watch Dogs Legion PS4

Update: It's now been confirmed that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will release Holiday 2020 on PS5 and PS4. You can find out more about that through here.

Original Story: Ubisoft appears to have very big plans when it comes to supporting the PlayStation 5 from day one. According to Jason Schreier, who will soon be joining Bloomberg News, the French publisher plans to put out both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion this year -- presumably coinciding with the launch of Sony's next-gen console. The coronavirus pandemic could still yet affect these plans, but at the time of writing, the PS5's launch line-up is coming together rather well.

We can say that thanks to a recent tweet from Schreier, who responded to a user questioning whether or not Ubisoft would release its two blockbuster titles in the same holiday season. He responded by saying: "Unless one of them is bumped because of covid, yeah that's the plan."

It's a debate we've been having at Push Square for quite a while now, raising questions of whether or not one of the projects would be bumped to early 2021 so that they don't eat each other's lunch. According to the reliable Jason Schreier at least, we're getting them both at once. Combined with strong rumours of a Demon's Souls Remake, Ratchet & Clank, and Godfall, we're already envisioning a very strong launch line-up for PS5. It certainly beats the likes of Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall on PlayStation 4, at least.

Do you hope Ubisoft's plans come to fruition? Will you even have the time to play both Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion this holiday season? Plan your free time accordingly in the comments below.
