If you don't already have a gigantic backlog to get through or a huge list of upcoming PlayStation 4 releases you'll probably never actually get around to playing, indulging in the latest EU PlayStation Store Deal of the Week probably won't help your efforts on either front. Rockstar's epic, open-world title Red Dead Redemption 2 has been discounted until midnight on 18th March 2020, giving you plenty of time to judge whether you want to saddle up for the 50-hour masterpiece.
With the base game discounted to £23.99 and the Special Edition coming in at a price of £29.99, the deal represents excellent value -- delivering an experience which could theoretically see you right through the summer months and beyond. It is that big. Upon its release, we slapped a rare Push Square 10/10 rating on the title and called it a day. "Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar's best game, and it's gripping from start to finish", is what deputy editor Robert Ramsey had to say at the time.
Do you plan on picking Red Dead Redemption 2 up at this discounted price? Round up the gang in the comments below.

you know i'm still tempted by this but you read so many stories about how it causes trouble for the systems (for example one person said that if he looked at the floor in the game it would kick the fan into overdrive) that i don't want to take the risk of it breaking my PS4, i am still on my launch model after all
@FullbringIchigo Weirdly enough, Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the very few games that didn't send my old PS4 Pro into overdrive. It was always whisper quiet playing this.
@ShogunRok i could always get it on XBOX but i only have a XB1 s and apparently it plays like crap on that
@FullbringIchigo I played the game on my PS4 Slim and it never got loud aside from the initial install and was whisper quiet even in the most demanding sections of the game, I know many mates who played it on the OG PS4 and they never had many issues either.
It is completely up to you but I say give it a shot as it won't kill your console!
@FullbringIchigo @DonJorginho
I had a Slim in my possession very briefly as my brother wasn't confident in sorting some account stuff - even just running without a disc in and doing some HDD work, it was significantly quieter than my launch PS4 at the same distance.
@KALofKRYPTON @DonJorginho i talked to a mate who has a copy on XB1 and i'm gonna try it out on there, if it plays OK then i'll get it
on a side note it would also save room on my PS4 for FFVII Remake
@KALofKRYPTON Slim is King
@FullbringIchigo Smart thinking tbh, Luckily I have around 400-500 GB free without deleting anything, so should be fine for FF7!
@DonJorginho Nicely reworked internals, proper second class ticket looks though
SPEAK UP EVERYBODY, I'M CURRENTLY PLAYING RDR2 AND I CAN'T QUITE HEAR YOU!
@Neolit well only have a PS4 Launch Model and a XB1s so my choices are limited and with FFVII Remake being 100gb minimum and a unknown number of parts i'm being cautious how i used my HDD space on my PS4 for now
of course hopefully i'll be able to get a PS5 early next year so it could all be a mute point by then
@Neolit i'm already am using an external HDD for my PS4
i wish you could use more than one
@Neolit well like i said i'll see how it plays when i borrow my mates copy, if the XB1 version plays like crap then i'll look at the PS4 version
