With Resident Evil 2 already being a masterful remake of the PSone original and Resident Evil 3 plotting its path to PlayStation 4 in a few months time, fans of the series are wondering what will get the Capcom treatment next. One very popular pick is Resident Evil: Code Veronica X and some supporters have even come up with their own promotional material for the hopeful release.

Put together by various Twitter users -- those being @CoreyOCroft, @Legendary8chaos, and @manueldailly -- the team has drafted pre-order bonuses, a Digital Deluxe edition, and even a Collector's Edition for a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X on PlayStation 5. As you can see in the images below, just putting down some cash for a standard version of the game nets you the Retro Skin Pack alongside Claire Redfield's outfit from last year's Resident Evil 2 remake.

This is some seriously impressive stuff, isn't it? The Digital Deluxe edition packages together numerous outfits and skins along with the original soundtrack swap and Steve's Golden Lugers. Meanwhile, the Collector's Edition comes with your very own item box, a statue of the protagonist herself, and real-life replicas of various items and puzzle pieces from the game.

It has to be said -- if that collector's edition ever became a thing in the future, we'd seriously consider reserving ourselves one. The three creators have whacked a 3rd February 2021 release date on their promo material, which is probably far too soon in the future for it to be actually realistic. However, we really do appreciate the enthusiasm all the same.

Do you hope Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is the next entry Capcom remakes? Break out of prison in the comments below.
