"In 1945, Hitler summoned a Nazi zombie army and left Europe in ruins. He was defeated by the resistance and cast into the fires of hell." Yeah, that most certainly is Zombie Army 4: Dead War. The next co-op focused shooter from Rebellion is out on PlayStation 4 in just a few weeks, and this new trailer will give you a comprehensive overview of what to expect.

The six-minute trailer explains what it pitches as a "diabolical story campaign" by teasing the sorts of locations you'll visit, how the zombie horde has evolved with new enemy types and weapons, and what those still left standing can do to put up a fight. The elite enemies sound especially horrifying to say the least. You'll be able to go at it alone or team up with three other players as you utilise traps and distractions to gain an advantage.

100 ranks will allow you to upgrade characters with perks and enhance weapons through tokens earned by playing the game, giving you even more of a reason to replay scenarios. Capping the package off is a horde mode which increases in difficulty as you progress, but also rewarding players in the process as they reach even tougher waves.

This is one we get some hands on time with at EGX 2019, presenting itself as a ton of fun. Zombie Army 4: Dead War launches on PS4 on 4th February -- are you interested in taking down Nazi scum? Decide on your loadout in the comments below.
