The Elder Scrolls Online has wrapped up its Elsweyr saga with a final cinematic trailer, but your hero's adventures are, rather predictably, far from over. Developer ZeniMax Online Studios has had a lot of success with its MMO over the last few years, and much of that success is down to the robust and well received expansions that it's been adding on an annual basis. 2017 was Morrowind, 2018 was Summerset, and this year has been Elsweyr.
So what's next? Well, in 2020, it looks like we'll be heading back to Skyrim, which was, of course, the setting for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We get a very brief glimpse of the frosty northern region right at the end of the aforementioned cinematic trailer.
"Explore the dark heart of Skyrim," it says. There'll be a full reveal event livestreamed on the 16th January, 2020.

I doubt many people trust Bethesda after this past year...
@NomNom It's a bit of a common misconception, but The Elder Scrolls Online isn't made by Bethesda — it's just the publisher.
@NomNom Yeah Bethesda has anything to do with the development.
I am actually looking forward to it. I enjoyed my time with ESO this year and still play it from time to time. It's a good game to go back to when there are gaming draughts.
The game is so well supported with new content which always keeps the game fresh.
Didn't really engage with the Kit-e-Kat expansion - so a few cats get burned by Dragons? Meh.
Looking forward to this one though - if only ZOS could give me a 3rd USEFUL racial passive for my Wood Elf...
