There’s an official Jumanji game for the PlayStation 4, but Sony clearly felt its cross-marketing efforts would be stronger if it cooked something up in Dreams for the cast of the upcoming movie to play. In this bizarre clip, Hollywood stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan gather around to play caricatures of themselves in an uber-simplistic platforming level.
To be fair, this is decent marketing for the exclusive. A gag about Hart’s height shows how easy it is to manipulate assets in Media Molecule’s creation engine, while Black provides some vocals for the level’s theme song. Johnson appears to be bemused by everything that’s happening around him, but he’s in that many movies these days he probably doesn’t know what day of the week it is.

Hahaha, a right riot of a video and showing off some seriously cool features. I had no idea you could use the microphone to create your own instruments, that’s an incredible feature for soundtrack creation with limitless possibilities.
Is the level playable in game? I was on last night, didn't see it.
"he’s in that many movies these days he probably doesn’t know what day of the week it is."
Only 3 kinds of movies coming out of Hollywood these days - Rock movies, Reynolds movies, Rock & Reynolds movies.
I'd imagine The Rock's giant hands would crush a dual shock 4 like stale bread!
Marketing has become absolutely bizarre.
Anyway its good to know we can infringe on any IP we want. Thank you PlayStation!
@themcnoisy I know right... I am making my own XXX game in Dreams using only A list celebrities doing all sorts of thing and there 'aint a darn thing anyone can do. Ahahahahahahah
I'm sure this was the intent with Dreams to begin with!
