PlayStation is 25 years old today, which is naturally cause for celebration among Sony's staff. One of the company's development studios, the ever-cheerful Media Molecule, is commemorating this milestone in style with -- what else -- Dreams. In this brief but endearing clip, you can see the team's interactive effort in helping PlayStation celebrate turning 25.
Starting off atop a PS4 console, we head through a door and into a surreal space filled with low-poly PlayStation controllers and the like. Once we get to the birthday party, we see an oversized PSone, and insert a memory card into the machine, which triggers a not-quite-but-close-enough rendition of the console's famous startup screen. It's very sweet, and the most Media Molecule way the studio could celebrate the 25th anniversary.
