Concrete Genie

Developer Pixelopus didn't have any specific DLC planned when it was asked about post-launch support on Twitter back in October, but it has now become clear that the team has come up with an idea it simply has to implement into the game. A free Brush Pack update is available for download right now as part of patch 1.06.

This new update affects the entire game and gives many of the title's brushes a Christmas makeover, allowing you to paint scenes inspired by Santa Claus and his reindeers, or just a good old mince pie. An on-screen pop up will ask if you want to activate the pack upon booting the game, and then it's time to get down to work.

The welcome addition was revealed in part of a PlayStation Blog post, one where creative director Dominic Robilliard explains how thrilling the general feedback to Concrete Genie has been. "It was such an overwhelming surprise to read all the great reviews and see such a wonderful heartfelt response from the PlayStation community." We enjoyed the game when it launched a few months back, awarding the beautiful experience a 7/10.
