After kickstarting its first season of content earlier this month on 3rd December, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is back with a Season One refresh that adds even more classic multiplayer maps to its online offerings. Available to play right now, you can get nostalgic by playing Shipment and Vacant from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for free.
The notoriously tiny Shipment map has been given a British makeover, but it still looks to be just as hectic if the trailer above is anything to go by. Vacant is another fan favourite map which has been brought back from the dead -- ensuring that you're in for a very good time whenever you boot the game up next.
There's even more to this Season One refresh, however. Shipment can also be played in Gunfight and it's joined by a new map named Over Winter. More Special Ops experiences can now be played co-operatively, joined by further limited-time modes. It all seems like more than enough to keep players occupied over the Christmas break.

Glad I never have to pay for map packs on this CoD. one of the reasons why I stopped playing years ago along with the gameplay getting stale. Only bought the game and no MTX at all. I like this new way of giving FPS MP content.
another 10.5gb update to add to the 150ish it is already. i'm baffled why this game is so ludicrously large.. is it the long term goal to be so damn large that people will only have CoD installed and can't play anything else?
This is great, the more maps the better. I'd love some Black Ops 1 & 2 maps as well!

Nice thought, but you'll only ever get old maps previously made by infinity ward so modern warfare 1,2,3,ghost & infinite warfare.
Dont understand why people like shipment. Its one of the stupidest and point maps ever imo
@Gmork___ It's chaotic and don't have to stress.
