Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has had its EA Access 10 hour trial scrapped by the publisher thanks to the fear of spoilers, but that hasn't stopped the game from being sold early worldwide. Fans across the globe are starting to get their hands on copies before it officially releases this Friday, meaning that both story and gameplay spoilers are already cropping up all over the web.
Various lucky players who got the title early have been sharing spoiler-free impressions over on Reddit, but as more independent outlets break the street date, the more careful we're having to be. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is already being sold in places such as Pakistan, while even those here in the UK are having their online purchases arrive early. As usual, be wary of the likes of YouTube where a simple video thumbnail could spoil an in-game event.

Nice one, now it's being spoiled regardless, I'm sure EA will revise their approach regarding the Access trial.
Huh? What do you mean they didn't actually care about spoilers, it was more a money thing? Cynic!
I'm hoping the reviews are favourable for this. I'm not fussed on actual scores, just hoping that I'll like the sound of what is written about the game.
Well, so much for restricting early access, EA. The spoilers are always one step ahead. Cutting off online access is one thing, but having the game “go gold” several weeks before release is just tempting fate.

Still undecided on this. I might actually go looking at some videos to see if they've improved the animation, and whether I want to buy it.
Somehow, I don't feel that anything I see will actually spoil the game for me... unlike Naughty Dog titles, for example, I just don't see EA coming up with a story which I care about enough to be that concerned.
If Star Wars Fallen Jedi commercially tank then it might be the end for Electronic Arts for sure.

@Th3solution they better could have used the time too polish the game. Im certain we will get a massive day one patch.
@Rick_Deckard Yes. Not sure whether it will do so immediately, or whether it'll get patched in later, but the developers have confirmed a Photo Mode for the game.

@Rick_Deckard I'm addicted to Photo Modes. I wish I were brave enough for a wider social network presence, as I've been told that my screencaps are pretty decent. At the very least, I'll be making myself some lovely new desktop wallpapers!
I'm picking up my copy first thing. When I inevitably come here to share initial (spoiler-free) impressions, I'll tag you and let you know whether the Photo Mode is there, and how extensive it is.
@Flaming_Kaiser - day 1 patch is 342Mb, fairly small by typical standards these days.
Speaking of photo mode, are we having another photo competition over on the Push Square Community this December?
@Rick_Deckard Been playing it the past couple hours; unfortunately, there's no sign of Photo Mode yet. I've checked every menu and button, so it must be coming in a future patch.
It's a gorgeous game, so I can't wait for it to be implemented!

@leucocyte Thats quite small indeed. But i hate that so many games get released in such a short timespan. This game sounds quite nice and what is it that preorder bonuses are sold out?
@Flaming_Kaiser - this arrived on my doorstep the day before release, i don't even remember pre-ordering it to be honest. and there were no bonuses or anything.. it's EA, so for that of course you need to buy one of the fancy (i.e. even more expensive) editions. but yeah, i only bought two games this year, and they released a week apart (death stranding and this), and i played modern warfare just before that (fortunately it's very short). i'm currently using the death stranding bonus theme, which is very nice.
@leucocyte I think i bought 20 games this year traded in few after finishing though.
@Flaming_Kaiser - well if you bought 20 already, then another 4 or 5 that you might want releasing within a few weeks of each other isn't going to help either your wallet or spare time.
@leucocyte Mostly have too make choices. And trade ins for 2 old games and €25.😋 I need to Platinum Dragon quest heroes 2 a few weapons left and i will never play it again 208 hours. 🤬
