One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 now has a release date, and guess what? It's yet another game that's going to sandwich itself between heavy hitters like Final Fantasy VII Remake and Cyberpunk 2077. January through May next year is starting to look ridiculous.
Anyway, the anime-based brawler is due out on the 27th March 2020 -- that's just one day later than the Japanese launch date -- and we're looking forward to getting our hands on it. The previous title, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, still stands as one of the best Warriors-style games on the PlayStation 4 -- and that was released over four years ago. Here's hoping that the sequel can deliver an equally enjoyable romp.

as much as i love One Piece i'm sorry but FFVII Remake is out in March and that's going to be taking all my time so i'll have to pass on this one i'm afraid
seriously what made Bandai Namco think putting this up against FFVII Remake was a good thing
Like @FullbringIchigo says above, this is about the worst timing for this. I love OP, it's my favourite manga, but there isn't a single game, real or hypothetical, that I'd choose over FFVIIR. I think there'll be quite a big crossover of fans too - I think it's quite telling that the two people that have commented on this so far are both OP and FFVII fans.
