Physics-based space exploration title Kerbal Space Program has been available on PlayStation 4 for a while now, and it seems developer Squad hasn't given up on the console version just yet. In fact, it's preparing to launch a DLC expansion named Breaking Ground, which was made available on PC a few months back. The new content pack will land on PS4 on 5th December, and it adds a bunch of new stuff to the game.

It seems the main focus of Breaking Ground is to give players more to do once they hit terra firma on other planets and moons. Surfaces have been revamped with new things to discover, and you'll be able to use new scientific tools to gather samples and more in your pursuit of knowledge. New robotic parts provide players with even more ways of making fully functional or disastrous contraptions.

Breaking Ground will set you back $14.99, but it sounds like fans of KSP will get a lot of mileage out of these new features. Are you still playing Kerbal Space Program on PS4? Plant your flag in the comments below.
