Dreams is not out yet, but it’s already obvious that it’s the easiest 10/10 we’ll ever award. Just spare a moment to look at this embedded Tweet, and tell us you’re not impressed:
So this is created entirely within the PlayStation 4 creation suite – but how? Well, we’re wondering the same thing to be honest. We think that the player has a DualShock 4 attached to his arm, which is tracking his movements with the pool cue. The effect is so convincing, though, that we’re not entirely sure what kind of black magic is being employed here.
It’s incredible what the community is accomplishing in Dreams, but credit must also be paid to Media Molecule for making an engine so absurdly powerful. Just wait until the PlayStation VR features roll out!

How? Even with the controller, how would it know which way it was facing or its position relative to the cue ball? Is it compatible with the VR camera?
Edit: I've just seen another video of him using the dualshock and a move controller strapped to his arms for something else, along with some elastic bands to use the triggers. Amazing stuff
Cool if anyone wants to spend hundreds of hours making a digital pooltable... but why do i need to take my tv off the wall and strap a controller to my arm to play it...i dont think its gonna be a hit.
@Pete_Stooge dude it was just something cool he did and wanted to share honestly you just sound like a hater
Crazy.
I knew in time we would get crazier and crazier ideas in Dreams.
impressive, most impressive. better hope he doesn't shank one and 'rip the cloth'!.
It's an example of the limitless creativity and imagination some people have. That's what it's about, doing whatever you can dream up, not just doing the same single thing repeatedly, like kicking a ball or shooting a terrorist. So yeah, it's a pretty perfect showcase that will just confound people without imagination who'll just think "so it's a program to make custom pool tables..?"
This will look like child’s play when Snacks on a Train is finished.
@carlos82 my guess is hes using the camera and moves (which you can't see) we are used to seeing the camera directly under or over a TV. What would happen if the camera was sat purposefully set above you? Probably this. You can use the PS moves in dreams and set them as a control input in your own games. It's telling the in game table and balls are basic and the physics wonky - yet the motion control is spot on.
