Hideo Kojima has reiterated on multiple occasions that Death Stranding is all about bringing people together, and in order to promote the title in Saudi Arabia today, PlayStation attempted a Guinness World Record at the Color Run in Riyadh. The task: to register as many consecutive high-fives as possible.
It’s all part of a larger Death Stranding push in the Middle East, where Sony’s also confirmed that the title will ship with Arabic menus and subtitles. It’s unclear whether the World Record attempt was successful, but we’ll update this article if we hear anything.

TIL Margaret Qualley, who's playing Mama, is the daughter of Andie MacDowell. I also apparently managed to watch her in the entirety of Fosse/Verdon without recognising she was who she was.
I wonder if the marketing team told the crowd "America has fallen, this game is a glimpse of it" and the crowd all high fived? (Applicable anywhere with any nation falling lets be real, which makes the message of this game....even more on point)
Anyway, interesting stunt. Actually...thematically in theme, and not in the Resident Evil lets leave body parts around London, or Watch_Dogs bomb scare kinda way.
Also, is "Give me some skin" what the floating brain in a jar of Hideo Kojima say in 2451 as he works on Death Stranding 12 where you reconnect parallel universes that collapsed due to the looming threat of Zorbglaxes within mirrors consuming the souls of mortals?
Hope they got the record but Saudi Arabia is not the right place for these type of physical interactions. Pretty sure men and women not married or blood related aint supposed to be touching eachother.
Yep, it went through a whole 4 people before coming to a halt when a women appeared in the line and the men ran off to gather rocks for a good old stoning. For a place that beheads kids, was responsible for 911, bankrolled both ISIS and Al Qaeda and chops up Journalists it amazes me how many counties and companies still suck up to those oil dollars.
