In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you'll be playing as aspiring Jedi Cal Kestis, but he won't be alone. Along with a ragtag team of allies, Cal will be joined on his journey by BD-1, a diminutive droid that'll help him out in numerous ways. A new video from EA highlights the little guy's design, and you've got to admit, it's pretty adorable.
The puny robot is almost like a pet, riding around on Cal's back as he explores various worlds. However, BD-1 will help the player out by giving you Estus Flask-style healing, highlighting points of interest, and more. If nothing else, its design, and R2D2-like beeps and whistles, feel very Star Wars.
Fallen Order is right around the corner, releasing on 15th November. What do you think of BD-1? Don't force it in the comments below.

The more I see of this, the more I'm liking the look of it. These two do seem pretty good together even though I still think Cal looks more like somebody who works at a call centre rather than a Jedi.
@ApostateMage All the merchandise for Cal comes with a little BD-1 on his back. I think they're designed to function as a unit and BD-1's charm will offset any deficiencies in Cal's character (for those who perceive them, of course; I think he looks great).
After the myriad of deadly, nightmarish killing machines from the prequel era, I'm ready to form a connection with a cute droid again.
As a star wars fan i'm curious about this game but the fact it's published by EA worries me. If they release a decent single player game without mtx i'll be shocked!
