So Hyped !!! I wonder tho.. this doesn't seem like a State of Play broadcast but a standalone event. My personal opinion but what is the point of the State of Play if your keeping your mega exclusives off of it ?

I would like to see some more gameplay obviously, but to specify even more as to what I would like to see I'd have to say that I'm mostly excited to see the story element or at least a small glimpse of what we can expect from the story. Oh... I almost forgot, I would also like to see a RELEASE DATE! Please Naughty Dog, Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Hype Hype Hype

This is one game I really want to play, TLOU 1, was the best game and story I’ve ever played. The intricacy, the emotion, the detail. Everything was perfect. If only every game had this level of commitment the gaming world would be complete. It’s the sort of game, real gamers love. So if we have to wait, then that’s fine. The longer we wait then the more perfect the end result will be. I cannot wait. I’ve a feeling it will be a next gen PS5 title though, along with other massive titles like Sniper Elite 5, GTA 6............we can only but hope so. Comments welcome as always.

@AdamNovice Hopefully with the PS4 Pro you will be able to choose between resolution or frame rate.

This game will live in my ps4 for ages or until there is a ps5 version. Can't wait to see some more of that world.

I'm not watching any more videos. I loved the first so I'm set on this one. Im not preordering though, I don't trust any company anymore to ever preorder. I'll check out some non spoiler reviews to see if they screwed it up or not. If not, I'll get it.

I just want to know when I can bloody pre order it at my local games shop, I know and think you can at Amazon but last time i pre order from them in a year advance it still came 4 date late. In the end I went out and bought Spiderman myself and sent back the order for a refund

They gave 2 weeks notice for a media event for ONE game!?!?

I'm excited for TLoU2 as well, but the last time I can think of there was a big media event for 1 game was for FFXV, where they announced the release date, then a few weeks later delayed that release day a couple of months.

I know Apple makes a big deal about everything, needing a big media event to announce someone passed gas in the office, but come on, it's 1 game. There are at least half a dozen BIG game shows or events a year, just show it at one of those, or drop a trailer on Yotuube. This is getting ridiculous.

OK, I do make exceptions for big NEW game announcements. I like big secret projects where they show off a new game. Gamefreak does it every couple of years for new Pokemon games. But even that is usually done in a trailer w/ 2 or 3 days notice.

Really, they better show TLoU2 running on the next PS hardware and announce a dual release date to justify an live event.

So release date in February then? The 5 month rule as with other exclusives im guessing February 25th then. Or February 14th but thats a Friday so my Release date for the game is February 25th 2020

I just hope that they release PS5 early too, so that i can enjoy the game in native 4k 60fps. I sold my PS4 Pro in anticipation of PS5, now waiting...... If they release PS5 too late after their major game releases then many people who are holding to buy PS4 Pro might buy PS4 Pro and forget about PS5 for some years. So, it is beneficial for them to release PS5 early with all major games i.e TLOU-II, Ghost of Tushima, Project Awakening, HZD2 etc

why on earth would you have sold your Pro now? When exactly do you think the PS5 is coming out? Cause from what Ive read, its likely to come out winter 2020. That's a long time to wait. Unless you are playing on something else. Just curious

@Tavist You are right. It might be coming in 2020 winter but I was thinking February / March due to all the hype arround internet. I realize now that it was huge mistake. Now, let me tell you that I am a huge fan of visuals in AAA 3rd person games. PS4 Pro let me down in many cases, like AC ODYSSEY, RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2, AC ORIGINS etc. I know the difference may not be huge between consoles but I like the best experience. I am not into PC as much. I always loved and always will love PlayStation. I like tailored experience of consoles plus exclusive games. I decided to put hold on many games just to play them with better graphics in PS5.
