The Last of Us Part II PS4 PlayStation 4

As expected, The Last of Us: Part II is going to bring us some fresh threats to tackle. The first game featured both human and infected bad guys, and that's set to return in the sequel. However, we now know about a couple more enemy types.

A new infected threat is the Shambler. You might remember the huge, Clicker-looking chap from the latest trailer. These guys are heavily infected brutes that take a bunch of damage and violently explode when they die. They'll spray acid at you if you're too close, and apparently move surprisingly quickly. Wonderful.

Then there are dogs. Also seen in the aforementioned trailer, canines will be present within certain groups, and are obviously trained to sniff out strangers. They'll be able to pick up on your scent, so your best bet is to keep moving and avoid these extra-sensitive baddies. If they do attack, you have lethal or non-lethal ways of dealing with them, but they move fast and will call attention to you. It sounds like you should just stay away as much as possible.

Of course, regular human enemies, as well as other infected like the infamous Clickers, will be making a return. Are you up to the task of dealing with these new threats? Avoid confrontation in the comments below.
