People really, really want a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, don't they? We mean, we most certainly do too off the back of the success of the Resident Evil 2 remake, but this story is just a little bit too ridiculous. Forum chatter on the popular ResetEra suggests that the recently announced Project Resistance is actually a multiplayer mode for the assumed remake of Jill Valentine's adventures in Raccoon City, and apparently, the announcement trailer even suggests there's a link between the two.
Basically, the thread creator thinks they've spotted Carlos Oliveria and the lady herself, Jill Valentine, in the CCTV footage found within Project Resistance's reveal trailer from earlier this week. The character models shown supposedly look like their original PSone counterparts, except for a more "professional" way of holding her weapon in the case of Jill, as the forum poster puts it. If you want to see the evidence, head on through this link, but it's sort of ridiculous. However, there's another twist in the tail.
Apparently, the Resident Evil community has been theorizing that Project Resistance is actually just a multiplayer mode for the currently unannounced Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake. Supposedly, there are ties between the two games as fans read too much into the working title of the multiplayer-centric experience, to the point where we're not going to give that speculation any weight. It's all just a bit silly really.
There will most likely be a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis in the future, but this isn't it folks. Although, what do you think? Is there something here we're missing? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Doubt that, but they could be intentional hints put in by Capcom to let us know RE3R is coming..
Exit: and those 2 models could absolutely be Carlos and Jill based on the pictures in the link, so at the very least they could be extra playable characters or something?
Please try to not link anything from that website.
Personally I would love a remake of code veronica x
@Rephlex It’s not like they’ve done anything wrong, they just hold different political opinions than you. It’s hardly 8Chan.
Could just be a fun little easter egg.
Personally, I doubt Capcom would hype up Project Resistance just to have the game completely overshadowed by the RE3 Remake.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing RE3 Remake next E3.
@QualityGeezer
RE3R and Veronica will do nicely
Nothing says anxiety attack like a faster, deadlier, more environmentally-destructive Mr. X. With this, my vote is for a Code Veronica remake first, to give my poor heart some breathing room. "Staaaars" shudders
@GoodGame @QualityGeezer Hopefully they will also do a remake of RE4 in addition to RE3 and Code Veronica X.
We will definitely get a Resi 3 remake at some point, but people are definitely jumping the gun if they think it's anywhere near to being announced right now, it's not even a year since the Resi 2 remake, give them a chance lol I would hate to have it rushed and not be as polished as 2 was.
