It's incredibly unlikely to ever happen, but we couldn't help but share this crossover that makes some of our hopes and dreams a bit of a reality. Reddit user Narvikgutten has taken The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's iconic US boxart and given it a bit of a Death Stranding twist. Instead of Link standing atop a rocky mountain, it's Sam Bridges complete with his kit, suit, and BB.
It's a gorgeous image that captures the essence and beauty of both games, but we actually think this crossover would work out quite well if it ever came to fruition. Hideo Kojima's latest places a huge emphasis on traversing the world and getting to and from places, something you do a lot of in Hyrule. With mountains to climb, valleys to cross, and bodies of water to navigate, reconnecting America might prove to be just as tough a task as defeating Ganon.
Would you be interested in this sort of crazy crossover? Let us know in the comments below.

Bet those on Nintendo Life will love this.
If Death Stranding's open world is half as mesmerizing and interactive as the one featured in BotW, it'll be one of the best games on the system.
Did you just use the original 1980s dodgy translation spelling of Ganon?
Jesus....thats a deep cut.
And your guns break after every shot
Nah. Could be fun seeing him traverse Horizon Zero Dawn terrain, I could actually see them doing that.
No thanks, BotW was the worst Zelda I ever played.
Never will understand the love for Breath of the Wild. I played for five hours and just stopped. The world was dull, the weapons broke to easily, the temples were bland and samey. Just stayed too far from the Zelda formula. I get that people were impressed with Nintendo finally making a sandbox game, but they really didn't do anything that hasn't been done before.
No thanks. BotW is perfect as it is. No need for self blowing kojima to come and ruin it.
@LieutenantFatman Same game engine, so why not
Haha, great artwork. I need to get back around to Breath of the Wild at some point.
It's raining, can't scale walls... No problem pulls out ladder, ladder is broken
@Yogsoggoth I mean we can say the same w Horizon Zero Dawn..
"It's incredibly unlikely to ever happen"
Considering you guys were worried sick for Panic Button's sleep schedule enough to suggest to just let them dream, I guess we could say, to each his own, huh?
@Yogsoggoth I played for 300 hours and wanted to keep going (but had to move on to other games). Different strokes, I guess. I just fell in love with the world and exploring every little nook and cranny. It was a different kind of rewarding when compared to the average "check list"-style open world in my opinion.
@Ralizah breath of the wild isn't a great game.
Playstation gamers already have a much better game.
Horizon zero dawn
@Yogsoggoth finally someone with a brain.
Botw is not a great game.
Found it so bad i actually sold my switch for it.
@Yogsoggoth so you judged a 100+ hour game based on its intro.... believe me that there's a very good reason why it won game of the year.
@The_ghostmen Breath of the Wild was so bad, you sold your Switch.
This is the greatest comment I have ever read.
You must have a great taste in games. Would you mind giving me a few recommendations of games you think are very good?
@Onion_Knight Are you suggesting that the game becomes significantly different somewhere in that 100 hours? I watched my son play it to the end and it seemed pretty consistent from beginning to end.
