The Internet complained that it didn’t know what was going on in Death Stranding, so auteur Hideo Kojima responded with almost 90 minutes of gameplay footage at the Tokyo Game Show last week. The videos went into intricate detail about the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, outlining the loop and its online features. The problem? They were all in Japanese.
Fortunately, IGN has saved the day with a full English translation of the ex-Metal Gear Solid man’s demonstrations. If you want to truly learn about the hotly anticipated hiking simulator, then this is the best glimpse you’re going to get of the title prior to its release in November.

It certainly adds more context now. It's far more involved then just simply walking, you really have to think about what you carry and where you step.
At the end of the day Death Stranding is an exploration survival game with Dark Souls online features taken to the next level.
@AdamNovice That’s a pretty good description of what this game is. I guess it’s almost similar in a way to the old Resi games with its inventory management but with a whole big world. So it’s basically Euro Truck Simulator except you can piss on the ground.

@AdamNovice @nessisonett don't forget you can also grow mushrooms with your pee, so Death Stranding is also Farming Simulator '19.

I don't think I will watch it. I'm going to get it anyway. I want to go in blind as much as possible.
When I watched the first video, I think the gameplay loop finally clicked in my head. Again, I am still not convinced it will be fun, but I still cannot wait to play it.
Haven't watched any videos, but just the thumbnails alone has me psyched!
the more I see the more I love . Exploration is a part of gaming which i admire survival is welcome too.
