Hi-Rez Studios has promised to introduce cross-play into its major PlayStation 4 titles, and it's already done so with Paladins. Now, with its latest update, SMITE becomes the latest game to support cross console functionality.
The Odyssey: Underworld update adds a new battle pass as well as new events and skins, but it also brings with it the ability to play SMITE with those on other platforms. Cross-progression and cross-commerce - that is, having your purchases carry over between platforms - won't be available at launch, but it sounds like these features are on the way.
