Tokyo 2020 PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Premier League football has finally made its long awaited return, and that’s about to eat into our weekends once more. The good news is that the video game release calendar is still relatively dry, so it’ll be backlogs all around before the heavy hitters arrive later in the month.

I imported a copy of SEGA's Tokyo 2020 title from Japan, and it's proving brilliant fun so far. I've missed the arcade sports games of yore, but this feels like a return to the Dreamcast days I'm so nostalgic for.

It's going to be a PlayStation Plus heavy weekend for me. I've still not made any more progress on Detroit: Become Human, so I'd really like to finally get around to that. However, Sniper Elite 4 is looking extremely tempting. Whether shooting Nazis through the eyes or exploring an android-fuelled future, there's plenty to be getting on with.

I read Push Square's DuckTales Remastered Demonstrates the Dangers of Digital with Delisting news article, and I felt regretful about neglecting my PS3 backlog. Life is like a hurricane, but I'm lucky to own DuckTales Remastered, so it's only fair to gamers who missed out on this game that I dedicate time to booting it up on Sunday.

A short and sweet week from us this time, but let's overload the comments with your gaming itineraries. What are you playing this weekend? You know the drill.
