After the failed open world experiment of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, publisher CI Games is going back to basics with Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts – a Siberia-set campaign with five maps, each designed to be replayed over and over again in order to unlock additional tools and gear. It sounds Hitman-esque, and that’s no bad thing in our opinion.

Now with a fixed release date of 22nd November, the title also promises online multiplayer in addition to the harsh and varied single player experience. You can get a look at one of the stages in the trailer embedded above, as well as some of the tactical gear that you’ll be able to employ when out in the field. Looks like a step in the right direction, eh?
