We’re not sure we care much for what Evotinction actually is – but let’s talk about that name, shall we? It’s a portmanteau of ‘evolution’ and ‘extinction’ we assume, which makes sense seeing as the title seems to be set during a post-apocalyptic future where technology has taken control.
This one appears to be a kind of Metal Gear Solid-style stealth game with drones, but it’s looking undeniably janky in its ChinaJoy 2019 trailer embedded above. There’s no word on a date, but it will be playable in Shanghai this week.

I do kinda agree that it looks kind of janky, but hey, it's a China hero project game. We're gonna praise it anyway until it releases with middling reviews and then we'll forget about it just like what we did with the first batch of China Hero games like The Walker, Animal Force and Immortal Legacy lol (although IL was alright).
Anyway, just as long it won't be as bad as other bad stealth games like Left Alive, Shadwen and Alekhine's gun, I think it would be okay.
Oh, and yeah, I agree that the title is terrible. It's another issue with chinese games. Either the title is nothing what the game is about or it sounds like it was thought up by a 13 year old trying too hard to make it sound cool.

Game looks boring to play so far, story a bit interesting, but the title just doesn’t work. Not at all. It wants to be clever, ut it’d just trying too hard with those two words. At lest make it evostinction. It’s sounds a little less janky that way.
I would have called it Extinctolution.

Have the been looking at the "How to name your game" guide by Square Enix?
Is it just me, or this kind of reminds me of Death Stranding? At least, it gives a few hints about possible gameplay options in the upcoming Kojima game
