Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s single player is all about the more harrowing aspects of war, but its multiplayer is much more interested in glamourizing conflict. That’s not a criticism, by the way – merely an observation, as this reveal trailer goes balls-to-the-wall for a full 180 seconds of online action.
Speaking during a live stream, developer Infinity Ward revealed that its ambition was to mix the familiarity of old franchise instalments with the freshness of something new. You definitely get that feeling from this trailer, as it’s unmistakably Modern Warfare, but quite unlike we've ever seen it before. Looks good.
