Hey, Haven's looking pretty interesting isn't it? From The Game Bakers -- the team behind super stylish boss-rush title Furi -- Haven was first announced earlier this year, but its brief teaser trailer left a lot of questions unanswered. Fortunately, the title's just received a great new gameplay video, which we've embedded above.

With a striking art style and a story that revolves around a young couple who have escaped to a strange planet together, Haven's shaping up to be a unique experience. It's got open exploration, turn based battles, and an original soundtrack by Danger, too.

"Haven is a very accessible RPG, a relaxing game. It’s purposefully a very different experience from Furi," says creative director Emeric Thoa. "But as with Furi, we tried to make a game that you have never experienced before. The story of a couple fighting for their freedom, an established relationship: what love looks like when you’ve moved past the early seduction phase, when you can be your true self with one another... I don’t think that’s been done much in video games.”

Thoa continues: "Haven is kind of the lovechild of Journey meets Persona.” If that's not enough to pique your interest, we don't know what is.

The press release also points out that while Haven can be played alone, a second player can jump in at any time via local co-op. Could be a good game to play with your special someone?

Haven's still got a vague release window of 2020, but are you interested? Don't get too soppy in the comments section below.
