We've all seen the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest entry in the series from Infinity Ward, but all we've been hearing about is the divisive impressions from behind closed doors demonstrations. A number of people have seen the game in action, with the main point of discussion surrounding the intense nature of certain scenarios. We were hoping to see gameplay during E3 2019, but it stayed hidden in the shadows.
Fortunately, it sounds like gameplay will be going public pretty soon. Responding to a post on the Modern Warfare subreddit calling for the gameplay reveal, Infinity Ward art director Joel Emslie said, "Almost there....stay on target". With the game releasing in a few months, we have to imagine gameplay will debut pretty soon. Hopefully we'll get our first real glimpse within the next few weeks.
