Man of Medan, Supermassive Games' follow-up to Until Dawn, is looking pretty good, with a similarly decision-driven narrative and a creepy nautical setting. Publisher Bandai Namco has just announced the release date too, as well as introduced an incentive to pre-order.

The game, which is the first part of the studio's Dark Pictures Anthology, will arrive on PS4 on 30th August 2019. The date appears at the end of the new trailer, along with details of the Curator's Cut. Those who pre-order (physically or digitally) will gain day one access to the Curator's Cut, which is an alternate version of the story. Unlocked after beating the game once, you'll get alternative viewpoints on previously played sections. There will also be new decisions and pathways to explore, and new scenes to discover that you won't find in the regular play through.

Sounds like a neat way of extending the game. In case you're wondering, the Curator's Cut will be made available to everyone for free later down the line; pre-orders just get it early.
