How to Unlock the 'Go Against the Grain' Trophy in Layers of Fear 2

During the fourth chapter of the game, you'll come across a scripted sequence that included a flooded hallway. As you enter a door with a 'Recording' sign above it, waves of water will continuously try to push you back and stop you from progressing down the corridor.

In order to ignore directions, you'll need to fight against the current and make it to the end of the hallway. Just keep holding forward on the thumbstick and you'll eventually make it to the end.

How to Unlock the 'Go With the Flow' Trophy in Layers of Fear 2

During the fourth chapter of the game, you'll come across a scripted sequence that included a flooded hallway. As you enter a door with a 'Recording' sign above it, waves of water will continuously try to push you back and stop you from progressing down the corridor.

In order to follow directions, allow the water to push you back as far as possible. Don't touch any controller buttons or thumbsticks and eventually, a cutscene will trigger. This also unlocks the Trophy.

How to Unlock Both Trophies in One Playthrough

Due to the nature of the two Trophies, you would think that unlocking both would demand a second playthrough. However, it is possible to unlock both in just one. As soon as one of the two Trophies unlocks on screen, quit out of the game and back to the main menu. Reload your save via the continue option and you'll be placed at a checkpoint roughly 30 seconds prior to the choice. Now, you can replay that section and unlock the other Trophy.
