Death Stranding Hype Takes It to the Top of Twitch

There are currently over 100,000 people watching hand prints gradually remove a thick layer of gunk from the latest Death Stranding trailer. Sony’s been streaming for almost 24 hours now, revealing a mixture of gameplay and cinematic footage from Kojima Productions’ upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive. And fans are so hungry for their latest look at the game that the release has become one of the top trending titles on Twitch.

It’s currently sitting behind evergreen games like League of Legends, Dota 2, and Fortnite – but has overtaken Grand Theft Auto V, World of Warcraft, and PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds. Obviously this will only be temporary, but it just goes to show how much pent-up enthusiasm there is for Hideo Kojima’s latest effort.
