Chvrches Death Stranding Kojima Productions

Aside from ResetEra, electropop bands like CHVRCHES are our first port of call for video game news. So while the rest of the planet waits patiently to learn more about Death Stranding, director Hideo Kojima often invites his celebrity mates around for a peek at the project and a nice cup of Matcha tea. The aforementioned Scottish group recently popped by the ex-Metal Gear man’s sci-fi studio, and in an interview with Consolevania, bass player Iain Cook has hinted at what he saw.

“Some of the sh*t he is doing with the new game is unlike anything I have seen anyone else do,” he told the website. “I have no idea how he’s going to make it work but I am confident that if anyone can do it, Kojima can.”

This kind of teasing has been a recurring theme ever since Death Stranding was announced, amping up the mystery surrounding the exclusive. At this point, it’s hard to tell whether it’s all just empty hype, but we suppose Kojima does have a history of thinking outside the box, and we know that there’ll be some unusual uses of online play in the PlayStation 4 title. The wait for more information goes on, we guess.
