It looks like the final marketing push prior to release for Days Gone is in full swing as Sony releases one more advertisement for the zombie shooter launching at the end of this month.
Viewable above, the ad questions who protagonist Deacon St. John's final bullet is for. The strong, the weak, or the helpless? It's a quick trailer that boasts of phenomenal production values, with the trademark "Greatness Awaits" slogan appearing as a swarm of freakers makes its presence known.

pre ordered the special edition yesterday.
might not get the GOW level of public reception but it will be a sleeper hit for sure.
i think that the average score will be around an 83/85 on metacritic with pushsquare giving it an 8.
which would not be bad at all.
The one bullet is for Knack when he's facing him during the GOTY awards.

I think pushsquare will give it 7 because fade to black cutscenes makes it 7.49 instead of 7.52.

@JJ2 i know you are joking a bit,but pushsquare is not the kind of site to lower the score for such petty reasons.
chances are that i will only read their review and that's it. don't need the other site's opinion,since some of them already think this game is just an average open world game just because it does not bring anything new. as that is something all games need to do these days...
Credit where credit is due Sony's marketing for Days Gone seems to have got a lot more people interested over the past few months.

I watched Hulu's April installment of their monthly Blumhouse film and it had two Days Gone commercials.

@jdv95 8 is pretty good for a new ip, but it will be a total failure according to the usual suspects.
They created every argument possible against acclaimed titles like God of War, Horizon and Spider-Man, now imagine for Days Gone, lol.

@PS_Nation considering how many exclusives that the ps4 has had so far it is only normal for atleast 1 to be not a 10. they can't all be god tier masterpieces.
but still an 8/10 is still a big score,and if the usual suspects want to call it a failure,well you only have to show them the average review scores of their exclusives this gen (you know which platform i'm talking about). for some of them an 8 is a score they can only wish they got. besides if an 8/10 is what they would call a failure for PS standards,well than i guess we should take it as a compliment to just how good our exclusives have been so far.
so yeah,i'm confident that this game will be successfull enough to warrant it to become a franshise or atleast give it a sequel.
The last bullet is for himself! This, God of war, horizon zero dawn, spiderman and the last of us is why sony will continue to dominate the first party scene

@PS_Nation you think this game gonna flop ? lol i guess not. it could end up with at least 82.. if this game flop then Sony must release the last of us 2 to help them make more money in their fiscal year
Any word on whether reviews will be allowed to be published before the game releases? (Even if just one day in advance). Would like to decide whether to pre-order or to wait for discounts based on reviews.

@TheLastOfUs2 No, I believe the game will sell a lot. Talking about the scores, I don’t believe the reception will be outstanding, but we need to consider that’s a new ip. If the game receive lots of 8, still is pretty good for a new ip.

Yes! Days Gone is my most anticipated game ever. The game is certainly shaping up to be something special and I can't wait! Naughty Dog better watch out because Bend Studio is coming in swinging! 💀
