Watch Dogs 3 will very likely be revealed at E3 this year. The sequel's been rumoured for what feels like an age, and in a year when Ubisoft has said that Assassin's Creed will be taking a break, it makes sense for the open world hack-a-thon to make a return in its absence.
It's also long been rumoured that Watch Dogs 3 will take place in London, and evidence of that is mounting. In Kotaku's recent report about Assassin's Creed with Vikings, the publication throws its weight behind the supposed London setting, saying that it is happening.
Again, we'll likely know for sure when E3 2019 rolls around, but right now it's looking nailed on. Maybe our mate Danny Dyer can lend his cockney voice to this game, too?

And here I was thinking there'd be no way to make a cast of characters any more annoying than in Watch Dogs 2.

They should set it in Liverpool because the scouse accent is rare in video games. I've only heard it once in Dragon Quest Heroes.
Whilst i'm excited for a London setting, it does worry me that a non-uk company will get the whole Cockney vibe wrong if tried. I still cant get over those northern accents in Unity and Shay McCormick's dodgy Irish accent in Rogue. Ubisoft make lovely worlds but they have a poor record on protagonists.

W_D1 was good, the second one was great and I'm really looking forward to the third one.

I'm very excited for this...but the minute it's announced the cast from the second game are going to be in it again im out.Most annoying cast of characters in a game and spoilt the experience for me.
I’m completely up for a London-set Watchdogs. The fact that I live in London means I’m totally biased of course 😉
I'm actually one of those weirdos that liked Watch Dogs 1 more than 2. 2 was really freaking obnoxious, had horrible stealth, and made you rely on the drone way too much. I hated using the drone. I also didn't like the bike lock weapon when it came to melee; it was really dumb.
The city and the sandbox in 2 was definitely better than 1 though.
I can't believe I'm saying this as a true Cockney, and therefore one of the best people on the planet, but...
People do realise that London is much bigger than the East End and Cockneys, right?
It's a good job these games aren't too realistic though, as you'd be forever looking behind you to make sure some little scrote doesn't ride up behind you on a moped, stab you in the back, and nick your phone.
