We've been keeping a watchful eye on A Plague Tale: Innocence, the bleak adventure game set in 14th century France. Developer Asobo Studio looks to have crafted something quite unique, with a relentless swarm of plague-carrying rats and enemy soldiers to avoid as you guide Amicia and her little brother across the country.
The game finally launches on 14th May 2019, and publisher Focus Home Interactive has announced that it's gone gold, meaning development is now complete.

This is going to be my blind purchase of the year. No idea if it's going to be good or not, but I like what I've seen so far, so I'm getting it when it comes out.
Replace rats with angry humans and you have 2019 Paris.

Looking forward to the review from this website to see how this turns out. The premise is different and has me highly interested, hopefully it has the gameplay to make it worth a buy.
