Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince was officially confirmed towards the end of last year, but it's only now that we get our first glimpse at the new entry in the series. The new game sees a return to a 2.5D perspective, and sends Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya on a new quest to find the mysterious Prince Selius, whose nightmares are becoming reality.
The game will feature online and offline co-op for up to four players, revamped combat, and of course, plenty of puzzle platforming. It's still early days, but it sounds like developer Frozenbyte is making a return to Trine at its best. Trine 4 will arrive in Fall 2019.
What's more, publisher Modus Games is also set to release Trine: Ultimate Collection, which bundles together all four games both physically and digitally. This will launch at the same time as the latest game.

Funnily enough, I'm just playing Trine 1 at the moment, and will then move on to 2 and 3. Good games, although I don't know if a 4th will be slightly overkill?
i may pickup the collection for all 4 games if the price is fair, especially if everything is on disc.
How will 4 player co op work when you only have 3 characters?
Nicee, I don't like trine 3 that's full 3D, but a 2.5 trine games like these, I'll buy it day 1 for sure
Loved Trine 1 & 2 but not so much 3. The full 3D just didn’t work and made the puzzles far too annnoying. Hopefully 4 will be as good as 1&2.
