The Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date Header

Bethesda hosted The Elder Scrolls 25th Anniversary Celebration panel at PAX East yesterday, and as part of proceedings, director and executive of the company Todd Howard stated that The Elder Scrolls VI and new IP Starfield won't be a part of Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference.

While celebrating the past, present, and future of The Elder Scrolls, Todd Howard said: "Before everyone asks, please be patient. It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3, either of those games, this year. And so patience, please, but you know, given the anniversary, we did want to give everybody a taste…"

It's an interesting statement to make because it begs the question, what will be shown at Bethesda's keynote? It has already been confirmed that Doom Eternal will play a large part in the presentation along with "much, much more". So, what is that more now that it is confirmed that the company's heaviest hitters won't be there? Wolfenstein III? A new Dishonored title? Nevertheless, there are only a couple of months to go until we find out.
