Gran Turismo Sport’s all-new v1.34 update is available now, and it’s packing a ton of complimentary content. Headlining this update is five new cars, spanning the Toyota GR Supra RZ ’19 to the Pagani Huayra ’13. The full lineup of additions is listed below:
- Toyota GR Supra RZ ’19
- Pagani Huayra ’13
- Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren ’09
- Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package) ’89
- McLaren F1 GTR – BMW (Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing) ’95
The patch also includes the Autopolis International Racing Course, a “challenging race track located in the middle of a mountain range on the southwestern island of Japan”. Then there are several new GT League events, as well as a bunch of new Scapes based on the aforementioned circuit. The gift that keeps giving?

Game that keeps on giving. Still missing the "magic" of older GT games but I'm very happy they have stuck with this. Downside is with every content drop seems a true GT7 is further off.
I'm new to GT Sport, loving it so far, the few times I get to play (busy with work and life usually). Last update made me realize that the game essentially re-installs a new, larger version of itself with each new update. I'm gonna need a new external hard drive for this, I'm still rocking my factory 500GB and getting close to capacity.
Jesus, feels like it was only yesterday we got a big update and now here we are again. All for free! Love this game.
@redd214 question for you: considering how much support this game is getting, is there really a NEED for gt7? what could gt7 possibly bring to the table to make it stand out and be deemed necessary to the gt audience? i was a big fan of gt growing up on the original playstation. i spent a fair amount of time with gt3 and gt5 as well. i have yet to pick up gt sport due to the negative feelings at launch. now it seems to be a great time for me to finally pick it up... i feel as though polyphony has made the game i expected at launch at this point and there is nothing else they can possibly do to improve it any further. what would gt7 be if they do choose to make a sequel? and yes, a gt7 this gen seems out of the question... perhaps a few years into the ps5's life they will roll it out — perhaps as a slight upgrade of gt sport. i don't see them rebuilding the cars and tracks from scratch all over again.
I already have my racing fix with both Forza Motorsport and Horizon but I still want to buy a PS4 exclusive racer. So which is best, this or Driveclub? I know Driveclub has day/night cycle during races and dynamic weather but does GT have those? I only want one or the other, don’t see no reason to buy both.
@Porco main thing missing in my view is a progression based single player campaign of sorts. Yes they have and keep adding SP events but it's more of just a checklist of races compared to past games. I for one enjoyed the way older games were structured vs GT Sport and hope they find a compelling way to go back to that. Kinda difficult to explain but GTS has never gotten its hooks in me compared to all the other games which I've played for hundreds or thousands of hours each.
@MaccaMUFC I would go with Driveclub over GTS. Get the season pass as well which adds a TON of content.
@Porco a robust single player career for starters.
