This game looks like poo on PS4. I played some PS2 HD remasters with better graphics. It is nowhere near to the pictures on PS Store.

@Octane on top of the content all on disc but i doubt it.

I have enjoyed this game until I got stuck in a glitch breaking the game and left it in my backlog. That was a shame because I loved it. We need more historical games.

Is the game where combat sucks at first and is like the opposite of Skyrim? That comment turned me off to this game.

I beat the tutorial (which was so freaking hard) and just couldn’t get a handle on lockpicking or combat and never went back to it. I really was enjoying it but man was it not optimized for consoles. Like I swear lockpicking is impossible on consoles. Maybe they patched it by now.
I should really give it another go, cause it was pretty cool, I’m just used to Oblivion/Skyrim combat. Not getting smacked down instantly.

Playing currently. About 25% done I think. I'm liking it. No glitches yet. Might have patched enough it seems

Is this game any good or combat frustrating?

Well I already bought two of them that were on sale. Really enjoying the, game only really just getting started with the main quests, I've spent lots of time running around, looting and chatting.

@Stragen8 I havent bothered with locking picking and would agree its way too hard but not entirely necessary although some quests do seem to require it if you do accept quests from unsavoury characters.

@smythelove combat can get complex and requires training/practice, certainly if enemies have armour and or shields.

I feel with how the combat is in this game, it would be best to play on PC. Just a hunch.

@smythelove yep, I haven't finished, done a dozen or so side quests and some of the main, I absolutely love it but I'd suggest to anyone read how the game play is.

I just wish itd get a big discount in a sale already.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is one of my favourite games of recent times. I may have to pick this up for my eventual replay.

Although it takes a bit of time to learn and fully understand, the combat is exceptional. Every time you have a fight it's an experience. The first few fights you have leave you feeling elated that you won. Also magnificent is the horseriding. Plunging through the lush fields, (the graphic are terrific on a PS4 Pro), I kept thinking, 'this game is magnificent.'

Genuinely fantastic, this is my favourite game of 2018 and one of my favourite games ever made. I love it. I really recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely can't wait for the sequel.

The game is really good, and I agree with you in most things, but graphics???
This is, in truth, the worst game I ever played in terms of graphics,
unless you upgrade your drive to an SSD.. And I won't do that to play a game, otherwise I would have bought a pc..
The more you play, the more it takes to load the textures; and it gets worse and worse and eventually they won't load. There are lots of videos in youtube that shows this, and also in the official forum a big discussion about this issue, because some players where arguing that it's not a big deal since it can be corrected with an ssd drive..
And that, for me, just kills the game. A haven't finished it yet because I've been waiting for some patch to get it better.. And i'm still waiting.

@LowTech Nope, I'm playing on a base PS4 Pro. No SSD. And yes, I stand by my opinion.
Riding my horse, galloping through a glorious flush field and realising that it's dawn - cresting a hill and seeing the most astonishingly beautiful vista with a castle in the distance is something that happened to me time and time again. Graphically, the environments are STUNNING.

Over a 100 hour play through I noticed the texture load issue for three seconds maybe three to five times. It isn't game breaking and is absolutely overplayed.

Worst game you've ever played, graphically? Really? Come on now.

I sold my ps4 slim and bought a pro. The first game that I installed was KCD.
I wouldn't say that the graphics are stunning or anything like that, but I agree, it's a nice looking game, although the depth of field is not that good. If you play for 1 or 2 hours, but if you continue to play, or even better, if you put your ps in sleep mode for a while and then resume, this will happen:

Know, you tell me that this isn't game breaking.. And they haven't corrected it yet.
It's an old known problem that happens in ps4.
A little bit like The Division 2, but much worse.
The difference is that Warhorse has acknowledge and it seems that they're trying to fix it, while if you go to the forum of The division 2, the biggest thread is, by far, the texture problem, and the devs are saying nothing..
