Many consider Tales of Vesperia to be the greatest game in Bandai Namco's long running series, and it's easy to see why. Set aside several months of your life, because you're going to need a lot of free time to cover The Elder Scrolls Online's unbelievably gigantic map. With or without friends, there's a seemingly endless amount of adventure on offer here, and there's no mandatory subscription fee, either.

26. Kingdom Hearts III

Publisher: Square Enix / Developer: Square Enix
Release Date: 29th Jan 2019 (USA) / 29th Jan 2019 (UK/EU)

Yep, Kingdom Hearts III is finally here, bringing an end to Square Enix's still surreal crossover of Final Fantasy and Disney -- although the former barely features in this third instalment. With larger worlds to explore and some of the flashiest action gameplay on this entire list, the finale of Kingdom Hearts is a feast for fans. As for everyone else, well, you're going to have to play a few of the other weirdly named remasters if you want brought up to speed.
