More beautiful than ever thanks to this remaster's crisp high definition graphics, Dragon's Crown Pro still stands tall as a fantastic hack and slash dungeon crawler. The superb art style remains the highlight, but crunchy combat and a collection of fantastic enemy designs make Pro very difficult to put down -- especially when there's so much loot to collect. A rerecorded, fully orchestral soundtrack is the icing on the cake.

You could argue that Capcom could (and probably should) have done more with this remaster, but there's just no denying how great Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is. Underappreciated on PS3, this is a deserved second chance on PS4, as the game is still one of the best action RPGs on the market. What's more, the remaster doesn't suffer from the annoying frame rate drops of the original release, making it the best way to experience Dragon's Dogma on consoles.
A superb remaster of a PS2 classic, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is one of the PS4's best. Square Enix did a fantastic job with this one, heightening texture quality and breathing so much new life into the world of Ivalice. It even balanced certain gameplay aspects for the better, and the refreshed job system is nothing short of genius. A must for fans of grand adventures and engrossing fantasy worlds.
There are parts of Final Fantasy X that haven't aged well after all these years, but there's still an undeniable charm and personality to Tidus' journey. A classic Japanese RPG through and through, it's deserving of its high definition remaster on PS4, and Square Enix has done well in bringing the visuals up to speed as much as it can. While Final Fantasy X-2 isn't nearly as fondly remembered, it can still be fun, and having both games tied up in one neat package is certainly a plus.
There's a good chance you’ve already bought Skyrim at least once before, because at this point, who hasn’t? There’s a reason for its popularity, however. Skyrim is one of the jewels of Bethesda’s RPG crown, even today. Its near-limitless gameplay opportunities have become legendary, allowing the player to craft their own narrative or forgo one altogether. Special Edition adds not only every DLC, but mod support to make your latest playthrough just as fresh and exciting as your first.
