Sony’s not going to be at E3 2019, but a certain hotly anticipated role-playing game will be. CD Projekt Red has confirmed on Twitter that its long-awaited sci-fi blockbuster Cyberpunk 2077 will be in attendance at the Los Angeles convention in June – presumably both on the showfloor and as part of Microsoft’s press conference.
Last year’s behind-the-scenes demos generated a lot of buzz for the title, propelling it to the top of practically everyone’s most wanted list. We suspect this will be a much less secretive showing, with media potentially given the opportunity to go hands on. The Polish developer is still saying that it plans to deploy this one on the PlayStation 4, but don’t be surprised if it ends up being a next-gen title when all’s said and done.

I'm guessing this is the game that'll convince me to upgrade my GPU.
If it does release on PS4, don't be surprised if it's... a bit limited, like MGSV was on last gen consoles.
Not many games outside of Sony exclusives get me to their level of hype but Cyberpunk has done it.
I'm going to need some release dates for Last of Us 2 and Cyberpunk soon though or I am going to go crazy.
Checking their twitter pages everyday for news, is becoming unhealthy.
Can just see Phil Spencer milking it for all it's worth "coming to our next gen box" "exclusive world premiere" and other such tosh.

I'm looking forward to it. Wasn't there a rumor going around that it is coming this year? I highly doubt it, but I feel like I read that somewhere.
If Cyberpunk 2077 was an Xbox exclusive, I'd buy one just to play it. I need this game.
Only showing it to press last year was bizarre, stupid and pretentious. Apparently Throne Breaker and Gwent have flopped. Hopefully they'll stop farting around with side projects and concentrate on smashing out blockbusters.

@wiiware Yeah good luck with that, especially when Sony announced there won't be a PS5 until 2021 and CDPR is most likely to release Cyberpunk in May 2020 (witcher 2/3 release month)
It's one of my most anticipated games, can't wait to see more.

They knew Cyberpunk will steal the show so why even bother?
I still think this is coming out the end of this year, or very early 2020 at the latest.
This is a game I’ll double dip for without question. Hope they have a good Special edition.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I can totally understand why they only showed it to press that early. Knowing how pathetic the internet community can get over changes it makes sense. What if they have to remove a puddle or something?
