The Memory Archive is not on Kingdom Hearts III's disc, and so you must download it. It is included in the 1.01 update so make sure to download all patches before starting the game. Once it has downloaded and installed, launch the game.

Select the Memory Archive from the main menu

Once the game has booted up and you've reached the main menu, the Memory Archive is the bottom selection in the list. Select it and you'll be greeted by a series of five videos, all of which should be viewed by anyone new to the franchise.

You can either select the videos one by one, or opt to view all via the option at the top. This option is handy because if you simply need a quick brush up on a certain aspect of the plot, you can quickly dive into a particular video instead of watching the full 20 minute explanation.
