The Forums vote had Astro Bot and Assassin's Creed Odyssey in place of Hollow Knight and Ni No Kuni 2 so pretty consistent.
AC: Odyssey was robbed 😛 Haha, but to be fair then there have been so many stellar games this year (including on VR from what I've read and what my brother has shown me after recently getting PSVR) that even a top 20 list wouldn't be sufficient to satisfy every gamer as 2018 was a vintage year imo, and tastes vary so much, which is of course to be celebrated 😀 Of this list, I've played 7 of them and loved them, and Hollow Knight is sitting on my PS4 waiting patiently for me to finish some other indie titles on my list first. MHW isn't really for me, and I'll likely get around to playing SotC at some point.

I played 9 of the list. Pretty great games.
Almost perfect just need Yakuza 6 and Monster Hunter World a little higher that game it's always giving something like the new Pigs Quest (year of the pig I think) which is really funny
Play 8 of those: Got the Platinum Spyro 3
Completed Spyro 1,2 and 3 , Dragon Quest and Ni No Kuni 2.
Enjoy but failed to finish God of War, Spider-Man and Shadow of the Colossus
Monster Hunter World and Red Dead Redemption failed to click for me and I gave up on both off about half an hour.
I bought Hollow Knight sale and and it is now in my backlog.
I will never play Detroit Becoming Human as I don’t enjoy that type of game.
@Spectra I agree wholeheartedly. That game is honestly special. Sure, it has its faults, and the main-story doesn't always deliver, but the game is incredible nonetheless.
On a side note, can I give a shout-out to the editor of that video? The transition between each game was quite phenomenal; it meshed so well with the scenes provided, especially the color palette.
It's a nice general list of 'good games' for the PS4, although my own listing would look very different.
I did not enjoy the combat in God of War, so for me it would not feature on a list like this. I haven't played Spider-Man, RDR2, Spyro and Dragon Quest XI, but definitely plan to one day.
So between the games I've played on the list, I would have placed Hollow Knight and Shadow of the Colossus much higher, as #1-2. For me, both of these games are excellent to replay; I enjoy subsequent playthroughs almost as much as the very first. For a similar reason I would place Monster Hunter as #3, it's fun to return to. I really enjoyed Detroit and Ni no Kuni 2, but don't think I will return to them as often as the others.
@Frigate I'm curious, which games you didn't like from this list?
