The Dreams beta finally got started a couple of weeks before the end of 2018, granting certain players the chance to begin fooling around with the game's suite of tools. Unfortunately, participants currently need to agree to an NDA, meaning they can't share their experience or their creations. While this is still enforced, Media Molecule went through some of its favourite things made in the beta test so far, and some of them are very impressive indeed.

In its latest stream, the developer explained how more people can sign up for future beta access, and it also went through some tips and tricks for those who might be struggling. The best part of the stream, though, was definitely when the team looked through some community-made levels, characters, and more.

From a level in which Big Ben is late for the New Year celebration to a fully functioning Guitar Hero-style rhythm game, the variety on show is predictably varied, and a lot of it is of a surprising level of quality. Granted, these are Media Molecule's highlights, but it just goes to show what can be achieved in a relatively short period of time. We definitely recommend watching as much of the above stream as you can to get a feel for what's possible in this game. Hopefully the full release isn't too far away.
