Bandai Namco basically just baited around 30,000 people into watching a Dragon Ball livestream. The publisher had previously stated numerous times that the stream would feature "big news" related to Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, but there was a serious lack of, er, big news.
Fans got one old DLC trailer for XenoVerse 2, some old information on that Dragon Ball mobile card game thing (we honestly weren't paying attention at that point), and nothing new whatsoever for Dragon Ball FighterZ. We don't think the stream went down particularly well.
At least Bamco all but confirmed that a second season pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ is happening, we suppose. When asked about it, producer Tomoko Hiroki said that she couldn't share anything at this point, but we should all watch the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals, which take place on the 26th and 27th January.
So yeah, that's half an hour of our lives that we'll never get back.

You'd think after seeing what Blizzard and Bethesda pulled last year, you'd see less of this type of garbage from other companies.
I mean finally getting Super Dragon Ball Heroes In English is nice. The card game's been running in Japan for a decade so I'd kinda given up hope on that.

I remember Sega doing this 2 or 3 times with a Sonic game a couple of years ago. (Maybe during the 25th anniversary celebration year?) I can't recall which game it was, just that they kept saying "tune into this event" then they'd have no news, just a band playing some songs and then at the end they'd say "tune into this next event" for news.
I don't buy any games with a season pass because season passes became obsolete the moment some idiot came up with the idea of making up a second season pass.
Overly aggressive monetization of fully priced retail video games is causing instability within the gaming market and a huge crash is coming within the next 3 years.

also on a side note the Super Dragon Ball Heroes game is coming to P.C and even though it's card based all the cards are in the game so why the hell isn't it coming to PS4 and XB1?

back on topic apparently the reason it's not coming to PS4 and XB1 is because it requires touch controls which a mouse can replicate COMPLETELY forgetting that EVERY PS4 controller has a touch pad
