Okay, deep breath before we say this one: Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Legacy of the First Blade - Episode 2: Shadow Heritage (phew) is out tomorrow on PlayStation 4. As its title suggests, this is the second episode in the game's first DLC series, with the third and final instalment set to launch in March.
Ubisoft's released an informative new trailer for tomorrow's episode that highlights the kind of stuff that you can expect, and it sounds pretty good. Based on our time with Episode 1: Hunted, we're mostly expecting more of the same, but we're also hoping that Shadow Heritage pushes the boat out a little. And no, that wasn't supposed to be a pun.
Naturally, we'll have a review of Episode 2 for you as soon as possible, so keep an eye out.

I know GOW,Spider-Man and RDR2 got all the headlines but this was one of the best games of 2018.
Feeling the same here! I love this game. Even now I stop and stare at the landscape and don't think I've used the share button this many times on any other title!
I’m not much of an AC fan. It got boring very quickly (I only liked AC1 and brotherhood), I was also very bored of AC origins. But AC Odyssey was a hell lot of fun. It doesn’t feel much like an AC game, but in general I think it is a very good and solid game, and especially fun and engaging.
I would recommend other people who are not fond of AC titles to give this title a try.
Ah the gift that keeps on giving. I keep coming back to Odyssey. This time of year post Christmas, ps store and steam sales I'm absolutely rammed with games in my libraries but ancient Greece keeps calling me back. Its a hell of a game. Varied, addictive and, in my honest opinion, the game of 2018 against some majorly stiff competition. It's longer than spidey, more varied then GOW and, honestly, more fun than rdr 2. I'm not saying those 3 masterpieces are bad in any way, shape or form. The only one I'm still playing, however, is the mighty odyssey. Credit to Ubisoft for their attitude towards their customers and for creating a brilliant, vibrant and believable world that I for one will be enjoying for months to come.
@tatsumi bored? How can you get bored with assassin's creed?
Surprisingly, the Odyssey's release passes so unnoticed that this review became a real surprise, yes, every year the course of the series changes, and if earlier the preference was given to Laura, wonderful chapters. heroes, and the plot, now everything is taken away in the direction of action-RPG, it’s good, or bad, everyone decides for himself, I don’t feel like that, because I don’t even want to play the new DLC parts of the series, but still the powder in the old dog has, but the review is excellent game, I do not argue, to each his own.
