Titled Shadow Heritage, the second episode of Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Legacy of the First Blade DLC saga will leap into view next week. We quite liked the first episode, Hunted, praising its well made quests and interesting character moments in our review. Hopefully this continuation is even better.
"Continuing the story arc from the first episode, in the second instalment players get to investigate a blockade initiated by the Order of the Ancients around the port city in Achaia," the press release reads. If the previous episode is anything to go by, then you can expect another helping of cultist killings, a handful of story missions, and a new set of legendary gear. Shadow Heritage launches on the 15th January.

Great news,just finished part 1 yesterday.
The game that keeps on giving.
My OP Kass is going to smash everyone.
@jdv95 SAME! It took me by surprise. I didn't pick the quest from the menu, it just activated and I was like "Sure, let's go there." Then all of a sudden the old man ambushes me and I go "Oh! That's the dude from the trailer! So I'm doing the DLC now."
Really smooth introduction of this content. Usually you have to seek it out yourself.
Regardless, great thing I don't have to wait a lot longer for the 2nd episode.
This story feels very canon and I bet it is. It's really weird you have to get the SP to experience it. Same with AC Origins. The first piece of DLC contained so much canon material, if you're a fan of the series and not get the SP you completely miss it. Wonder if you get the Hidden Blade at the end or something.
@sabaki08 there are rumors that there are some hidden blade animations in the files so we could get it at some point.
And true this dlc is the actual AC part of oddessey
will there be anymore episodes after this one?
@huyi 1 more after this one.
it's 3 episodes in total.
@Frigate Yeah going up against multiple enemies can definitely be a pain (especially if they're mercenaries), but I've found that carrying a heavy blade or staff weapon works wonders. R2 attacks tend to have wide arcs so you can hit multiple enemies, and the overpower attacks are great for taking out more than one foe in sequence.
Just in time, just beat the first part.
Not got far enough to start act one yet. Gorgeous game... Don't we get ac 3 at some point to?
@sham8nix yeah, sometime in March
@FrankGarrett awesome, that'll be a blast from the past
@sham8nix
I think AC III and AC III Liberation as well.
