God of War PS4 PlayStation 4

The Independent Game Developers' Association, or TIGA, has just held its awards ceremony for 2018. As with several others, the UK-based organisation holds a yearly awards show for the games industry, celebrating not only the software, but the people behind them, from legal teams to recruitment agencies. This year, TIGA seems to be pretty impressed with Sony's output, as the platform holder has taken home a handful of new trophies for its cabinet.

First and foremost, Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe won the award for Best Publisher, which is pretty hard to argue with when you consider what it's released this year. God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Detroit: Become Human -- the list goes on.

Speaking of God of War, Santa Monica Studio's incredible Norse adventure took the Best Action and Adventure award, which again is difficult to dispute. Other PlayStation exclusives that nabbed an award are Gran Turismo Sport for Best Audio Design, and PlayLink title Hidden Agenda for Best Social Game.
