Ubisoft's marketing team's had a lot of fun with the Assassin's Creed Odyssey ad campaign. It made a very dumb but funny ad for an Odyssey-themed Amazon Alexa, in which Alexios, the game's male protagonist, lives alongside a modern family. Well worth a watch.

And now the company's followed up with another video featuring Alexios, only this time, he's replying to comments. Again, it's a humorous ad, but it does feel like Ubisoft uses it to take a few quick jabs at internet cynics. All in good fun, of course.

One comment reads, "I miss the old Assassin's Creed." Alexios replies, "I will share you comments with our developers, who have been slaving away to make an incredible game for you. Just leave your name, address, and the number of spears you want in your abdomen." Yeah, Ubisoft's probably sick of hearing that one by now.

Another comment reads, "Alexios, tell us when Assassin's Creed Japan is coming out." Alexios spills the beans: "Let me tell you what I know about Assassin's Creed Japan... Nothing! There is no place more glorious than Sparta."

You know what? This guy's pretty good.
