Can't wait to get your hands on Red Dead Redemption 2? A couple of retailers in the US are running special events that allow you to pick the game up on the eve of its official release date. If you have access to a Best Buy or a Target, you can head over and grab a copy of Rockstar's latest to get your Western adventure started as soon as possible.
Go to either chain on 25th October at 9pm local time, and you'll be able to nab yourself a copy. It looks like you'll be able to get either the standard version or the Special Edition, and Target is throwing in some nifty pin badges too. Whether you queue up for your early copy or not, the wait for Red Dead 2 is almost over.
Will you be picking up an early copy the night before release? Don't stay out in the cold for too long in the comments below.

I will be travelling the night before release. So I decided to go digital and already pre-loaded. Download states Version 1.02. So I should be good to go.
I’ve pre-ordered digitally and usually I wait till the next day to really get into it but seeing as though I’ll be working night shifts over the weekend and being with family during the day, I’m definitely going to be putting at least a couple of hours in when it releases after midnight.
Yes, as it is with virtually every other game ever. But it's Red Dead, so writing about this like it's a big deal gets clicks.
Definitely! I'm off Thursday & Friday so do the ABC's!
Sony should start releasing digital games a few hours early for us folks that gotta work the next morning

In Italy the base price is € 75 ($ 86 and £ 66) everywhere, with some retailer selling it at € 69...
